Act I 1930 - 1949
THE BEGINNING
- 1926 - Buddy's parent's Joseph Jacobson and Florence Jacobs got married on April 14th.
- 1927 - on Nov 7th the first son was born.
- 1930 - Howard Jacobson was born in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn, they lived in Queens. Florence said "He's my little Buddy" as soon as he was born!
- 1939 - Major family arguments.
- 1940 - Buddy's parents divorce.
- 1941 - Buddy drops out of school and goes to work for his uncle Eugene Jacobs who was a horse trainer.
- 1944 - June 10th. The triple dead heat!
- 1949 - December. Uncle Gene had Buddy tell his parents he would study in Hialeah, Florida; the real intention was to race horses.
Act 2 1950 - 1969
THE RACING ERA
- 1951 - Buddy Jacobson Licensed as a Horse Trainer
- 1953 - Buddy married Joan Miller. They lived in Queens.
- 1954 - Minneapolis Model Dawn Eve was born
- 1955 - Melanie was born.
- 1955 - NYRA was formed by The Jockey Club at the request of the state. The Jockey Club was founded in 1750 in England. The U.S. Jockey Club was founded in NY in 1894. TJC maintained authoritative control over NYRA until the mid 1970's after the Buddy Jacobson lawsuit and other legal issues cleared. They no longer maintain omnipotent control yet maintain status as one of 3 stewards which also include the state gaming commission and the NYRA.
- 1957 - Bowie racetrack pioneered winter racing.
- 1959 - Louis Wolfson established Harbor View Farm in Florida.
- 1963 - Buddy was the most successful trainer in America and again in 1964 and 65.
- 1964 - Buddy was on the cover of Sport's Illustrated.

- 1967 - Buddy Elected President of HBPA. An organization originally founded by close friends of Uncle Hirsch years prior.
- 1968 - Buddy Divorced. Wasp's started to sting.
Act 3 1970 - 1977
THE "HIGH" FASHION ERA
- 1970 - Sam LeFrak Ordeal. 45 day suspension. That year Buddy's Uncle Hirsch passed away. Buddy and Tony DeRosa purchased Norway Inn Ski Lodge and turned it into a wild singles resort.
- 1971 - Billionaire Maverick Louis Wolfson is released from prison and starts dating Patrice Jacobs who was Buddy's cousin and daughter of Uncle Hirsch.
- 1971 - Buddy filed suit against NYRA in the supreme court for 750k. The same year he also purchased the notorious building on East 84th Street on The Upper East Side.
- 1972 - Patrice marries Louis Wolfson. Together they ran Harbor View Farm near Ocala, FL home of legendary horse "Affirmed"
- 1972 - Richard Nixon, The Godfather, Paul Schrader wrote Taxi Driver in 10 days.
- 1973 - Buddy met Melanie.
- 1973 - Buddy sues NYRA for 8 million.
- 1973 - 1974. Melanie leaves Ford Models and launches "My Fair Lady" modeling agency with Buddy.
- 1974 - Dawn Eve scouted by Buddy out of Mpls and moves to NYC to model and live in the East 84th Street model's penthouse.
- 1975 - Producer Michael Phillips shoots Taxi Driver on the Upper West Side.
- 1975 - HOFFA! Hoffa Disappeared. James "Riddle" Hoffa, Billionaire Horse Racing Tycoon Samuel D. Riddle related to Jimmy on mother's side! Lenny Schultz cocaine, Southfield Athletic Club, Giacolone, Russell Bufalino, Hidden Dreams Horse Farm & Sal Briguglio.
- 1975 - Buddy acquired the Park East hospital building on east 83rd street. Reeling in the $uccess...
- 1976 - Melanie awarded model of the year by Francesco Scavullo.
- 1976 - Taxi Driver released by Columbia Pictures.

- 1977 - Jack Tupper the Manager of the Sherwood Inn of Queens moves into the building owned by Buddy on East 84th across from Nicola's Italian restaurant.
Act 4 1978 - 1980
THE CULMINATION
- 1978 - Hoffa suspect Sal Briguglio whacked in Little Italy
- 1978 - August 6th. Jack Tupper was murdered. The same day Melanie went apartment shopping in the morning that day before the murder. Jack was laid to rest on August 10th.
- 1978 - Sept 1st. Buddy was indicted. He wore a seersucker suit which was popular attire with cocaine dealers and disco kings in that time era.
- 1978 - October. Buddy granted bail. He paid the 100k and moved back to his penthouse on East 84th Street.
- 1979 - May 29th. Buddy and Salvatore Prainito indicted. Dec 10th of that year Melanie was mobbed by the Paparazzi.
- 1980 - Jan 30th. Trial Opened at Bronx State supreme court.

- 1980 - Salvatore was bailed out by mob associate "Crazy Al" April 12th he ended up walking.
- 1980 - on May 30th Buddy escaped from jail with the help of Tony DeRosa.
- 1980 - in May and June Buddy went on the run with his new girlfriend Audrey Barret and assumed new identities such as Anthony Zippolini. They drove a 1970 Blue 4 door Chevrolet Impala.
- 1980 - July 9th. Buddy captured in California.
- 1980 - July 15th. Judge William Kapelman gave him 25 to life.
Act 5 1981 - 1989
REVERBERATION STATION
- 1981 - Tony DeRosa changes his plea with Judge Slavin to be played by: Actor Artie Pasquale of the Sopranos.
- 1981 - Taxi Driver movie inspires assassination attempt on President Reagan. (more details cannot be released in order to maintain manuscript privacy)
- 1982 - 200 million dollar cocaine bust while Buddy the Boss was in prison. (more details cannot be released in order to maintain manuscript privacy)

- 1983 - Buddy used his money to hire two inmates to dig a tunnel to get him out of prison. The plan failed and he ended up in solitary confinement.
- 1989 - May 16th. Buddy passed away still in prison; ironically on the same date he was actually granted a retrial hearing.
